How We Work

Note on trade-ins: Most sellers know that a sale to an end-user will yield a better price than the trade-in value on their new equipment contract. The problem is that, in the past, to find this end user, one had to advertise the machine and divulge one’s identity. This produces a dozen time wasting calls from brokers and browsers for every one viable buyer prospect. Sellpress.com solves this problem. Your trade-in is listed and promoted at no cost or obligation, and we do not ask for an exclusive. We sort through all the noise and divulge your identity to only qualified and motivated buyer prospects. With our advance web promotion capabilities, Sellpress.com attracts a large flow of highly targeted, quality inquiries. If you are trading in a press, there is no reason not to contact us. E-mail the photos and detail just one time rather than dozens of times. Or, if you like, promote the machine yourself in addition to our efforts.

We respect the need for buyers to accumulate information to make informed purchase decisions and we work with buyers giving them information from our large database to make informed decisions without wasting seller time on false pretenses. When qualified buyers know what they are looking for, there is no quicker way to the target than Sellpress.com. If the target is not already listed, we work with them to find it.

Sellpress.com is proud to bring the community of printing companies the only pure owner/user offset printing equipment resource available on the web. We can do this only because we sell connections and not ad listings. We do not open our service to anyone wanting to post machinery for sale, only North American owners/users . Any "pay to advertise" service will be filled with broker/dealer listings of machines that don’t exist or that they have never seen, with the usual broker profits built into the prices, often 2 and 3 deep. We give buyers the choice of "going direct" (owner/user to owner/user) or of having us provide dealer value-added services if the buyer is more comfortable with that option. If the latter option is chosen, we will quote a price inclusive of the value added services and the the equipment will be sold through Techni-Cal Graphic Services (see About Us). If the "go direct" option is chosen, our clients have the choice of negotiating themselves or having us do the negotiating. Our fees are very modest by dealer/broker standards and will be discussed with our prospective clients at the appropriate time. Prices shown in our listings are actual seller asking prices.
